ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Do you know what a sundial is? A solar clock already used in ancient Egypt. Along the streets of Monclassico and Presson there are 60 painted sundials on the walls of the houses. A unique place in Europe, a true open-air museum! With Attilio you will be able to understand how a sundial works and learn the names of the artists.

We are the "Le Meridiane" Cultural Association. We are a group of art and history enthusiasts and experts on the science behind ancient sundials that created this local association twenty years ago.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

At the end of this activity you’ll enjoy a fresh apple juice, jams and organic syrups all made by a local farming company.

SUITABLE FOR

Everyone can take part in this experience.

The itinerary has a minimal difference in elevation and it can easily be adapted to exactly how much participants want to walk. All of the roads along this route are paved, with very little elevation gain and far from vehicle traffic.

EQUIPMENT/CLOTHING

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and take a cap with you to protect you from the sun, you can also take your walking poles with you and your camera.
