WHAT TO EXPECT/ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
An expert guide will take you on a walk through Monclassico and Presson to explain all there is to know about the 50 artistic sundials that have been painted on the homes of these hamlets: the only place like this in all of Europe, a museum under the sky!
INTERESTING FACTS/INFO
You’ll see a rare example of a «camera obscura» meridian, also called a noon mark: There are only 5 like this in all of Italy. A unique interactive experience.
Special workshops are organized for kids.
WHO ARE WE
We are the «Le Meridiane» Cultural Association. We are a group of art and history enthusiasts and experts on the science behind ancient sundials that created this local association twenty years ago.

Cultural experience with guided visit. The guide will be on hand to answer all your questions.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Everyone can take part in this experience.
The itinerary has a minimal elevation gain and it can easily be adapted to exactly how much participants want to walk. All of the roads along this route are paved, with very little elevation gain and far from vehicle traffic.
EQUIPMENT/CLOTHING
We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and take a cap with you to protect you from the sun, you can also take your walking poles with you and your camera.
Always bring your face mask with you, the guide will tell you where you need to wear it.
